Storm Damage Recovery

Hail Damage & Wind Damage Repair

Mother Nature can stir up some harsh weather. Siding, roofing, windows, and gutters can all be damaged by strong winds, hail, and ice. Our restoration specialists are expertly trained to identify and repair these problems.

What We Fix

Types of Storm Damage

Hail Damage

Hail storms and other severe storms can cause significant damage to a home. A hail storm producing hailstones the size of a quarter or larger can puncture shingles and expose the fiberglass matte. These weather events can also cause early wear on roof tiles — left untreated, this can result in interior water damage.

Sunrooms & Screened Porches

Wind gusts over 50 mph can lift shingles, which causes irreparable seal damage. Because a broken seal is impossible to repair, loosened shingles are vulnerable to loss. We examine roofing, gutters, siding, and screens in every storm damage inspection.

Free Inspection

A Jakari team member will do a comprehensive inspection, including high-tech drones and interior/exterior walk-throughs.

Step 02

Inspection Findings

A team member will walk you through any damage they find — hail, wind, or wind-driven debris.

Step 03

Insurance Meeting

A Jakari team member will meet with the insurance representative to document all damage and ensure a comprehensive estimate.

Step 04

Estimating

Jakari creates an estimate using Xactimate — industry-standard software providing zip-code specific pricing for labor, materials, and equipment.

Step 05

Material Selections

Review the work scope, choose manufacturer, style, and colors, and determine tentative start and completion dates.

Step 06

A roof build typically takes 1–3 days. A siding build takes 2–4 days. Materials are delivered 1–3 days before your build is scheduled.

Step 08
